We set out along the long lane of our  manor accommodations past a1940's vintage jaguar and a car looking much like a model T Ford, all of a bye-gone era as was our lodging.

Another beautiful day, coolish weather with a bit of cloud cover as we climbed back up to the water's edge and caught the first of many fantastic views!

Today we saw a series of small coastal islands which provide added protection for the coastline making it a haven for birds and because it is so calm, for kayakers as well.

Coastal  Islands

In the picture above you can see the Scomer Island grouping which during the Iron Age were all inhabited.  Since 1959 the islands have been managed by the Wildlife trust of Wales and is home to 30 species of sea birds, most notably over 6,000 pairs of Puffins.

All along the coastal path you see signs warning of the danger of the cliffs edge...here is one of these signs.  I think we get it!

A quiet beach inlet.

And another!

And yet another fab view!!!
